We all know how important it is to reduce our waste. Experts recommend to do an audit of your bin/recycling to get a clear picture of what type of waste you are generating the most of.
What I do on a regular basis:
I carry a reusable water bottle and this has become a habit for me now. I have a Sigg bottle that I carry around everywhere with me – there are lots to choose from here. Of course Sigg is not the only brand of reusable bottles. The Telegraph did a review of the best reusable water bottles recently. Probably the best place to try to find one would be in a charity shop.
I carry a reusable coffee cup, again this has become a habit for me now. I love the Stojo cups, they compress when not in use and so fit into a small handbag there are lots to choose from here. The great thing about using a reusable coffee cup is that most big coffee shop businesses now provide a discount when you use your own cup, which means that it’s only a matter of time before your reusable cup pays for itself.
